A few of my direct reports are new hires that all started at the same time, and I am currently training them. My manager has been asking me how long it will take them to learn the role. Historically, we don't have any data on this (and it was drastically different for each of the previous employees), and each of them are learning at different speeds. Does anyone have a general formula or way of looking at this to predict when the new employees will be ramped up? What factors do you consider and how do you forecast this to upper leadership?
