This morning routine prevents me from having panic attacks
Hey all... I know it can be a stressful time of year so I wanted to share something personal in case others are going through something like this. I started having panic attacks a few years ago. They come and go during bigger life events and for a while, I didn’t know how to control them.
About 6 months ago I picked up a journal and made it a morning mantra to write — and I’m not a writer. My minimum requirement is writing at least 3 positive points. This could be what I’m thankful for, what I’m excited for or what I’m looking to overcome. It’s so simple but it’s almost my own version of meditating and breathing simply.
Has anyone else experienced panic attacks before? Or do you know someone who has? Any other tips on how to deal? Hope this helps!
