Is it awkward to invite coworkers to your wedding?

I have one or two coworkers that I'm very close to in my office. We aren't best friends by any measure, but we go to happy hours together and have been through a lot through my 5+ years at my company. I am wondering if it is wrong to invite a coworker to your wedding

It depends really on how close you are with them, and how many and how much you are willing to spend for the reception. Perhaps your co-workers can have a party for you. In any case, they would understand if they were not invited. Friends and family are the foremost attendees. If your co-workers are not that close to you, you don't have to invite them.

My partner is inviting 8 of his coworkers to our wedding, and I'm inviting none. I think it all depends.

I don't think it's wrong or awkward! Obviously it's dependent on your relationship with them, but if you consider them a friend and would want them to be there, I don't think there's any reason not to invite them. A lot of my friends have invited a few coworkers to their weddings.

I had one of my coworkers in my wedding! I was actually her boss too. I think it totally depends.

You're invited.
