Interviewing w/ Start-up for Employee #3 Role

I am scheduled to have a 3rd Rd interview for the employee #3 position. I would be leading BD for the firm which is in the science industry. I met with the investors (I was a referral) and the CEO/Founder and now will be traveling to meet two more decision makers. I do not know who else they have met with yet. We also have not discussed salary at all or equity and I'm interested in how folks would engage this topic or create a market comparable. I will need to initiate most of my own leads, pipelines, ideas and so on. I would like to position my self as a late stage founder vs. early employee. I'm extremely interested and want to position myself to be the CRO in years to come. I welcome any suggestions around what other founders and investors may want to hear to feel comfortable to create confidence and secure the right offer and equity.
