Grants and loans that focus on lending to minorities
I am about to start my own business and believe there are programs for lending to minority business owners.
Does anyone know of any avenues that I could explore?

Look up CDFIs in your area. CDFI stands for "community development financial institution". You can find one using the CDFI locator map on the Opportunity Finance Network website.
