Have the courtesy to let the recruiter know you are no longer interested, it takes 2 seconds (you applied, they are interested and haven’t received an answer from you, hence the follow-ups). If you don’t want the job then any further digging into the company is a moot point.

I'm a recruiter at a non-profit that hires hundreds every year on a cyclical basis (educational non-profit). We have a great reputation as an employer and I can attest it is a nice place to work, but we do have trouble recruiting enough people because many of the positions are part-time and some don't offer a lot of hours. We always follow up with people who don't make interview appointments because ATS generated emails often go to spam folders and people often don't realize they have been invited. I always follow up once, but may try more if it is a particularly hard-to-fill role. I always appreciate it when people let me know they are no longer interested and I wish them luck.
