When has your spouse challenged you for the better?
I remember being at a state within my career where I was absolutely overcome by self-doubt –– a powerless feeling which held me back from seizing opportunities.
I consider myself to be a very confident person so this feeling took myself by surprise. It’s a vulnerable state and my spouse definitely noticed it –– before I even communicated it with him. He challenged me to face my fears head on and to not be complacent with where I was. He encouraged me to address my thoughts by expressing them out loud and challenged me to stop that inner self-doubter from taking over. I’m now more confident with taking chances than I've ever been before and it’s a big thanks to my spouse believing in me and challenging me when I needed it most.
