I have learned to two jr male colleagues were given promotions at percentage rates higher than me which at least doubles the amount I was given when I was promoted to svp. One male is a manager who was planning to leave to company so they offered to match his new salary. The other is actually a friend for mine moving from director to sr director. I got my promotion last Jan was told my raise would only be 10% of my current salary as that was standard. I do start at a higher base, but I had asked for more as I was given a second job on top of my current job as part of this promotion. They did not increase my promotion pay then and now we are going into the performance review period. What advice do you have about unfair promotion rates as - we are talking a difference of $20-$30k more than I received for lower level jobs?
