Job title confusion

I am an interior designer but have more experience with the hands on, on site building aspect than I do with a professional design office experience. I'd like to find a job still continuing to do both because I feel like you learn more about the unexpected and how to solve it and also how to build what you design versus just sitting behind the desk and doing site visits. I've been labeling myself as an interior designer/builder but I dont think that is technically the correct job title or field to search for. Any suggestions of keywords or specific searches I can do to increase my chances of finding a job with both?

Tailor your job search to what you’re looking for and briefly make it clear on your resume that you have a diversified skill set. I’m an architect but I work in land development now—View your unique perspective and experience as an asset and make that clear in your interview.

I get scared of self labeling as project manager bc Ive never completely managed a project by myself so Im scared I lack some knowledge there- like budgets. Ive never created a project budget breakdown before.

Consider using the term "Associate Project Manager" It's a a real PM title. And, if you're really feeling frisky, you could get certified by PMI, although I'm not sure how much value that would bring to your line of work and job opportunities.
