I made a rule to myself that I could only have chocolate once a week. Well it turns out I'm an angry person when I don't have chocolate (and I swear I'm a really nice person). Definitely failed on my resolution.

I had lots of habit/routine goals that are ongoing! My plan was 4x a week take a class (yoga, spin, body sculpt, whatever), 2x a week weight lift (just squats one day, dead lifts the other), work on pullups so that I can do 3 deadhang in a row, work on flexibility to get all three splits back, and work on handstands so that I can do a freestanding 10-sec hold. I've done REALLY well at hitting my classes/weightlifting/pullup work, but not the rest of it. As for everything not fitness related, didn't do as great but still a solid effort. Bring it on, February!

My New Years resolution was a month long challenge but I’m counting it. I tried “no drink January” or as many people say, “dry-anuary” for the first time. It was so hard but I successfully completed with no cheat days! What I learned: waiters/waitresses treat you differently when you don’t order alcohol. This was a diet on accident: I didn’t plan to lose weight but I lost 6lbs. I’m not a fan of mocktails. I’m going to try and drink less overall this year but can’t wait to pour myself a glass of Champaign later to celebrate. Cheers, FGB’ers!

Full disclosure: My resolution was to leave my work at the office unless it’s an emergency. I would say I’ve had a 25% success rate so I’ve got a long ways to go. Is anyone good at this? I need tips to help balance my life with work so I don’t burn out. I love this check-in question. Can’t wait to hear more!
