When is the appropriate time to talk about pre-planned vacations during the interview process?
I recently received two job offers, and I'm weighing my options. I'll be out of the 90 day probationary period by the time my pre-planned family vacation comes around, but the vacation is scheduled at the end of summer. I know summer time can be tricky for employers in terms of managing time off requests, and more tenured employees having their requests honored.
Should I mention the vacation prior to accepting an offer? How should I go about bringing it up? I don't want to sound like I'm only concerned with taking time off.
