How to stay positive while searching for my dream career?
I was recently fired for refusing to do unethical and morally wrong things for the owner of a company. To keep a super long story short, I always received amazing reviews from the owner - I was always a 10! He told me I was a core part of the Executive Team. Then, when I called him out on his lack of integrity and how it was jeopardizing my own integrity - he fired me. So I decided that I am on the hunt for my dream career. I have a ton of experience, however I keep getting ghosted and rejected. I used to be super confident in my abilities, skills, personality, etc. Now I am starting to doubt myself. I go to interview after interview & used to be excited. Now suddenly I dread interviews and think 'this will just lead to another let down' and words of "you are over qualified, we can't pay you what you are worth, you are intimidating". What?!? Thoughts and words of encouragement to get out of this funk / depression and land the perfect job. Much appreciated!
