How does everyone feel about defacto diversity quotas?
I spoke to a recruiter at a large, national, well-known, organization who told me - point blank - that the leadership wanted brown faces.
At my organization, there was a refusal to even pre-screen any qualified white candidates until all possibilities of getting a candidate of color were exhausted. Several diverse candidates turned down offers because they wanted more money. The company was willing to pay a premium for skin color.
What are your thoughts about this?
