Lifestyle & Relationships

my friends are all starting to have babies and it's making me anxious.

I definitely want kids, but I don't feel like I'm ready quite yet. But the fact that most of my closest friends are either pregnant or have babies is kind of freaking me out and making me feel like I'm somehow behind or like I might be missing out... is this normal? My rational self tells me to stop worrying about it, but I really can't help it.

Outside and inside stressors and not a good mix when it comes to having a child. We are so inductrinated to have are "i"s and "t"s crossed by certain age, to love unconditionally, etc. I am not saying not to be a planner, but also consider your husband for he and you will raise your child. Are you ready? Is he ready? Is your marriage solid? At the end of the day, look inside of you and your relationship rather than what everyone else is doing. Most of all, be happy with your husband and all will play when the two of you have the plan to execute.

Don't rush into it. Check off some of those bucket list items and enjoy life for awhile. It's a big commitment. When you're ready you'll know. It's not a competition on whose first or last. Let them do their thing and you do yours. You will also get to see what they go through and be able to plan yours a little bit better.

I am in the same boat, but realistically we all have different lives so I am taking things at my own speed ( and my husbands)! Other peoples live's aren't meant to dictate yours.
