Where are you traveling from? How much time do you have :) Depending on the amount of time you have and how long you want to stay in each location; I am starting @ Wyoming and heading Southwest. - Yellowstone and Grand Teton... The parks and the scenery / towns surrounding them are breathtaking and mostly still small town USA. Jackson Hole is wonderful; but the secret is out so it will have more tourist that in past years (Still worth it) - Scenic Byway from Jackson Hole to Bear Lake (Idaho/ Utah Border)... Bear Lake is worth an overnight if you have time... - Continue Scenic Byway from Bear Lake through Logan Canyon and into the Cache Valley of Utah... great accessible hiking trails and camping through the Canyon. - Logan to Bryce Canyon (4 -5 hour drive) - Bryce Canyon - Zion National Park - Travel back over I80 to Lake Tahoe NV / CA. - Lake Tahoe for 1 - 2 days -Travel from Lake Tahoe to Yosemite - Yosemite for 2 - 4 days... with the rainfall and snow this winter the waterfalls will be in their glory and nothing prepares you for El Capitan... it is breathtaking! Have Fun!!! If you need hotel or other recommendations; let me know!
