I have baby fever

I don't know if it has to do with the holidays and being around family but earlier this week I just started heavily thinking more and more about wanting a family. I'm married, no kids and 33 and the kid thought hadn't really crossed my mind until now. Does baby fever go away? Has this happened to you?

I agree don't wait. My sister had her last at 44 years old and it's much harder. I try to help her all I can but if you're partner is ready too then now is the time.

I don't think it just goes away. Even if you separate yourself from all babies and pregnant women, you may still think about it. I am currently newly pregnant with my first at 35.5 years old but been trying for over a year with treatment. A lot of my friends have already had 1-2 kids. Some haven't but at this point it seems like the single ones are more likely to remain single (not that that should prevent anyone from having a baby!) but who knows if they will have any kids. The non-kids people are more and more rare at this age. If you haven't seen a strong pattern yet, you will. My only advice is if you Do find you want kids, don't wait, because it either gets harder or is already hard (without you knowing beforehand) for a lot of people. If you don't ever want any, that's a valid choice as well.

What does your partner feel about the topic?

Same for me at the moment. I think it happened to me because so many friends and family are either expecting or just having kids. It's like a domino effect or something!

It happens to me ALL of the time
