Where do I go?

Whenever trying to plan a trip, I always think "Wow, there are soooo many places I want to go. " But when planning a trip, there are a few factors to remember: 1. make sure you are going to like it 2. go somewhere where there will be no distractions and you can relax and have fun 3. HAVE FUN! 4. Don't pack so much but pack a little more than you need to just in case. 5. don't go and waste your money on somewhere you'll hate

For me, half of the fun is the research. Whether it's a cruise, a road trip or a cross-continental adventure, I do my homework. Most of the time, it pays off. I use online, TV, and books to gather as much info and tips about a selected destination. For example, I want to share my love of the UK with my husband but neither of us feel comfortable driving on the other side of the road and I DO NOT want to see England, Ireland, and Scotland from inside of a bus. So, I found out about the railways and found that they go to pretty much all of the places I would want to stay and we can take day trips to specific sites if not within the city/town limits. I know the B&B's in Ireland are amazing, and there are AirBnB's as well, so when we do go I can put my kind of "stay as long as we want" trip together between trains/ferries and B&B's.
