Unsure and Frustrated in Austin

Hey there. I hope all is going well for you. I hate to trouble you but, I'm wondering if I could brainstorm with you. After struggling to find a part-time job returned to my old employer, who a federal contractor. Of course, nothing has changed with federal contracting, except the government is starting to push out smaller firms for larger ones. I do understand that because they have more capital and can recruit for the harder to fill positions. I've been here for about six months, and although I was able to fill all the positions for the only contract we have, it is clear we aren't getting any others soon, and I doubt the owner will need a full staff to handle the thirty employees we have. The owner hasn't said anything to me, but I'm starting to look for a new job. I would like something that will carter to my skills. I'm highly organized, a quick learner, and a "nose to the grindstone" type of person. I'm professional on the phone and via email, plus I have strong MS Word, Excel, and Outlook skills, and if I don't know the answer, I'll find it. I want a position where I'm in the background and work remotely. Currently, I'm working part-time (and remotely) as an HR Specialist. I mostly review resumes, screen candidates, do all the onboarding and offboarding, plus a few odds and ends. I enjoy this minus the recruiting and a few of the HR duties, but we cannot have everything. I want a similar position, but I cannot find anything on LinkedIn, or Indeed that doesn't look like a scam. I'm looking under HR Specialist, HR assistant, HR Admin… Do you have any suggestions?
