Sometimes you might have to take on a different job in a different field just to find work.

It took me a year to find my current position. I had been working for a company and when I let them know that I would be searching for a job in my field of expertise, they made my job so miserable that I ultimately quit. Then I continued applying for jobs in my field, but wasn’t getting any offers. I had finally just started applying for any job that might possibly hire me, threw out a Hail Mary to a company that was advertising for a very high paying position in my field... and I got the job offer! Six months later and I’m loving my job that it didn’t appear I was ever going to find. Time, patience, and perseverance paid off in the end.

Yup....... I'm going on 7 months now. I had a job, for 2 weeks, that didn't work out for a multitude of reasons, so I don't count it. I'm technically working right now, because we were desperate for the money, but I am still looking for the right fit, not just the first empty chair someone needs filled.

Agreed. Sometimes when you have given up or don't care as much anymore is when something great comes along! Maybe try a different approach or do something to take your mind off of it for a bit to recharge your batteries. It can be tough out there, feel free to reach out for support. Good luck!
