I am the only female in my company, and I have been there for two years. I am usually soft spoken, but I make sure I am heard if its my job and I have ideas to share. But often I get this vibe where I am either unheard or ignored or both. I work closely with two other male co-workers. They both always seem to have a good rapport and keep making fun of each other, skype each other all the time (non work related) and seems to have fun while working. On the other hand, I am never involved in those and when it comes to work related tasks and discussions, I usually become the mute spectator since they keep going at each other and never give me a chance to speak. It feels very frustrating. I don't think they ever had to work with a female before, and this is why they have built themselves a toxic bro culture attitude. Its not just them, but most people in my office (all are men). It bothers me a lot and I am not really sure how to overcome this.
