Your advisor is a good one, contact OSHA provide documentation and let them know that your goal was remediation and safety for all not to get the owner in trouble but to protect workers and the folks who have to be subjected to those hazards. In some industries the hazards come with the job so there may be limiting factors in some instances but no one should have to work in an unsafe workplace. Do the right thing. And glad you got out.

Thanks, Diana. I filed and they obviously thought it warranted enough of a concern to do an inspection right away. Sad thing, but not surprising is that my boss passed the whole Osha thing right along to the new director, taking 0 responsibility, which is quite awkward as I am training her (thank god remotely)
