Help?? I just internally transferred teams and the person who is training me has only been on this team for two months. The entire training process has been unorganized and I knew something was off. Yesterday, he confirmed my concerns and confessed that he doesn’t really know what he is doing.
Thankfully, I have a pretty good relationship with my superiors and other colleagues given that I was an internal hire. But I’m chewing on if it’s okay to speak up about the bad training I’m getting –– as I know his training isn’t helping either of us succeed. I know this person means well so I don’t want to go about it in a wrong way given that he is also new –– but I know I’m not properly learning what I should. Thoughts? Advice?
