I’ve had similar things happen in the past.
It might be a bot or computer program that is very “dumb “.: ie it sees “accounting” in the job title and automatically sends a solicitation!

I have had at least 3 different recruiters from 3 different agencies reach out to me about the same position. Plus the company itself. While the job title is the same as what I have (HRM), my experience is entirely different.
I have had multiple recruiters reach out to me...sometimes as much as 3x a week...for plant HR jobs. I am not plant HR. I have zero union experience. Nowhere in my resume/LinkedIn profile to I suggest otherwise (nearly all of these positions required union experience).
I have had multiple recruiters reach out to me for jobs that are not fully remote, but are indeed several states from my current location. Typically they find me on LinkedIn. My profile indicates I am not open to relo. Further...these are typically also plant HRM positions.
All that to say, I feel your pain and have no suggestions for you.
