I'm wondering if it's appropriate to reach out to HR professionals at target companies under the following circumstances:
- I've just received a rejection on a job application and company that seemed a perfect fit.
I'd like to know what I could do to increase my chances of getting an interview next time.
- Given my skill set, what suggestions do they have for me about where to look or who to connect with, or types of jobs / job titles I may have not thought of or even heard of?
- Where might I best fit at their company? Where might they encourage me to apply?
