Hi There - has anyone heard of a work history interview?
Here’s the situation - I completed an HR screening, moved on to interview with the local operations director and last week completed an interview with the hiring manager. On Monday I received a invite to do “work history interview” with the recruiter and a SVP from talent. They provided a guideline of the information we would be discussing for each position I have held previously.
This seems odd to me. It’s a company with a few thousand employees so I’m not sure why a VP would be involved. Additionally, the position I am interviewing is not a senior level position.
just curious if anyone else has run into this sort of thing? I am confident with my responses but it just seems so odd to me. Any insight anyone may have would be appreciated!
