Hair growth stimulation, does anything actually work?

Hello ladies! So I used to have long healthy hair (mid-waist length), but before I went abroad as part as my degree, I chopped it off and went for a bob (new year, new me). HOWEVER, my hair was cut in different lengths and it was really embarrassing to go out in public, and it still is. Fast forward two years (now) and it still hasn't grown enough for me to cut it all to one length without going shorter. I also suffered alopecia this year due to final year exams, anxiety, corona etc. Plantur tonic is great for this by the way! Anyway, I need something else that helps grow my hair quickly and healthily, bar coconut oil. I've seen pills like perfectil, hairtamin but i'm reluctant to try them. Does anyone have any experience in this and would recommend any oils/tablets/regimes? Thanks all and stay safe!

I use Biotin as well. I've used a biotin hair serum https://www.amazon.com/Biotin-Growth-Serum-Pureauty-Naturals/dp/B076TYGMYQ/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=hair+growth+serum&qid=1598397374&sr=8-5 I've used the Biotin shampoo (this is great!) https://www.amazon.com/Shampoo-B-Complex-Formula-Removes-Dandruff/dp/B01ENCBOA0/ref=sxts_sxwds-bia-wc-p13n1_0?crid=3ACFYH7G8392E&cv_ct_cx=biotin+shampoo&dchild=1&keywords=biotin+shampoo&pd_rd_i=B01ENCBOA0&pd_rd_r=674b7d34-e1e9-4939-bbf9-b5f1f23af8da&pd_rd_w=oGBTs&pd_rd_wg=DXqNH&pf_rd_p=e7ea7987-56a0-4822-adda-f67db5e22b16&pf_rd_r=JFZZ53YMB3035BGRX8E7&psc=1&qid=1598397415&sprefix=biotin+sha%2Caps%2C203&sr=1-1-791c2399-d602-4248-afbb-8a79de2d236f

The concern for me with the pills is how do they target the hair on your head to grow? I didn't want to end up hairy everywhere except my head.

From my experience, heat works. After I moved from Michigan to Texas during my first year, I cut off over a foot of hair. Also, biotin helps sporadically.

the only other thing I would suggest is a product called Wild Growth oil. It doesn't have any coconut oil in it as far as I know. Google it to see. They do make vitamins for your skin hair and nails. I would also see your dermatologist too, they might have something else for you
