I've recently started working with a small non-profit in Washington, DC. At the moment, they only have two full-time employees. They don't presently but are interested in offering health insurance in the coming year for themselves and any future employees. Does anyone have a good resource for health insurance providers in this space? I've never worked on this side of a non-profit before, so I'm a little out of my element. Are there any differences between typical small business healthcare providers and non-profits? Any insight or direction is very much appreciated.
