My mentor pitched me working for her company (I would still have to apply and interview and everything) but she mentioned their benefits are "okay" - I would love the opportunity to work at her company, Is there a good way to ask more about the benefits?
or should I just wait till I get to the interview process and ask then?
She has said they've improved their health insurance - but didn't really mention any of their other benefits. As I'm getting older - obviously benefits are a topic I'm care more about (vs. When I'm starting my first job and I just want anything). I want to know more about their benefits, but I don't know if it's appropriate to just ask, or what might be the best way to approach it? I just fought for a better parental leave policy at my company - so that would be something important at a new company.
I guess overall how do you go about discussing benefits with potential employers?
