Let me start by saying that Simon Sinek is my hero. The man is brilliant.
Today, I came across an article about his advice on goal setting that was just genius. The gist of the article is that if you write “so that” at the end of every goal, and then finish the sentence, it gives your goal purpose.
I tried it on a goal I wrote for 2020 that is more of a “need to do “than a “want to do” and suddenly it felt very different.
My original goal was:
Set a minimum of four hours every Friday to create content for my website.
Now it says” Set a minimum of four hours aside every Friday to create content SO THAT the people who respond are the people I can truly help.
