I've been doing some thinking I am expecting and I am due in December. I've only been with my company for 1 month and 2 weeks! I have not even hit my 90 days. I have no idea if they will keep me on. I have told my supervisor I'm expecting due to doctors’ appointments and alleviating the appointments getting in the way of my work schedule.
The job is cool its easy things do change and sometimes the training I've had does not apply and what I was trained on changes so then it makes you look as if you made errors . Which is a little annoying but that’s not a huge problem.
My question is if I'm offered a position 11/1 after my review and I leave the next month for maternity leave I don't know if I want to come back. Corporate is just starting to give me anxiety and I feel like if I come back I'd get complacent because it’s a good check but really no room for advancement.
I do want to stay with a company so I can gain some type of tenure. Also this job is 1 hour and 15 mins from home after I have the baby I have no clue who is going to watch the baby if I'm able to come back to this job this worries me as I'd be far from my child.
I certainly have worked from home before but it seems like those jobs are hard to get but this is potentially what I would be interested in after having the baby or at least something closer to home .
Should I stay with the company if they offer me a perm position being as though I'll be leaving for maternity soon and keep it so I won't look like I'm hop hopping or find something more accommodating to my new child and find something much closer to home. What are some options?
