A plan to divvy up childcare: do you think this is realistic?
My partner and I don't have kids yet, but we started having conversations about how we want to divvy up the work of child-rearing. He works longer hours than I do, and I said I understand if I might have to do more during the weekdays. I followed this by adding that this means that he will have to take over when he gets home from work and ALSO do more during the weekends so I can have some me-time like going out during the day with my girlfriends / working on my side projects. Do you think this is a realistic plan? Weigh in with your thoughts and advice!
