I work on a team that's incredibly social. Everyone has lunch together every single day. As an introvert, this is not natural/fun for me - especially because I'm sitting next to my team and communicating with them all day long. For lunch, I like to have some alone time. But I don't want to be seen as antisocial or not a team player. Do you think that by skipping out on some of the social things I'm potentially compromising the way my coworkers think of me, and in turn, potentially hurting my career?
