Hey Vickie, I think it depends! But if you're curious about looking for a job and haven’t already, I’d love to invite you to our new professional profile (which is different from your current community profile) and quick apply feature –– which gives you closer access to recruiters who are actively looking to hire more women. These features helps you avoid the job application black hole by receiving updates on your application status in real-time and the option to message the company directly after submitting your profile (link below). https://fairygodboss.com/users/job-profile?LAC=UGC&LAT=JSP Please let me know if you have any questions, best of luck with your search and please keep us posted!

Sometimes it's about figuring out yourself, what are your core values, what fuels you in your job, what drains you in your job and then aligning that with your day to day to see if it matches up. We have a free resourse, Rediscovering Yourself, you can download here . https://bit.ly/362IHVz

Reach your goals through positive connections

Start getting curious about your options and exploring.. it's hard to know if you don't even know what's out there. A Career Coach can also assess where you're at and clarify what may make you more comfortable and help you to formulate a plan to get there. Sometimes it takes being pushed out! I was let go of a job that I had outgrown and the next morning I felt like the weight of the world was lifted off of me realizing I didn't have to go into that job anymore.. that really solidified how wrong it was for me. Start exploring, reflecting and researching. A shift can be a slow process so start now! Asking questions is not a commitment to leaving your safe space, it's just building bridges.

If you don't look forward to going in to work, if you don't enjoy the work your doing, if you aren't challenged, then perhaps it's time. The fact that you're asking says quite a lot. :-)

Maybe when you know what you are doing is not fulfilling or with growth. Remember career changes can cost in salary, maybe assess your skills and looks for similar roles where you have a better opportunity to be challenged.

You're invited.
