This year I'd like to commit to speaking at conferences and summits. It's something I've always wanted to do. I've actually spoken at one conference about 15 years ago - and I loved it.
The "issue" I'm having right now is how long are these sessions? I don't remember what I did 15 years ago and the sessions these days seem like they are an hour long! That seems like a really long time!
Has anyone spoken at conferences? What is the norm?
I've been to conferences in the last year or so but I don't recall how long the sessions were. Quite frankly I remember them being all day because they were so boring. I only went to one good session - and he ended up on the Ted stage. The rest of the sessions are dry, boring and irrelevant. I'd like to change that :)
