In a job interview recently the hiring manager introduced himself and added his preferred pronouns, then asked what mine were. I had no idea, I'd never thought about it. Then I got the rejection letter a few days later with no explanation, and that was the only problem in the discussion. Is this a requirement now, to know your "pronouns"? I've never needed to answer that before now and I'm 61, should this be a deal-breaking question?
