As we approach 2021, I am thinking about my next career move. I am about 18m into my job and I absolutely LOVE my company. However, my group (which appears to be an outlier) is very toxic with extremely high turnover. Because of that my work load is constantly increasing and very unpredictable.
I would love to stay at my company, however I have personally seen my group jeopardize my colleagues internal mobility attempts. For a situation like this, is it better to just focus on external opportunities? Or are there strategies you can use to completely prevent a toxic team from impacting internal mobility?
