Hey all, thank you for the recommendations. I ended up sending the Christmas card and feel great about it thanks to everyone's helpful reservations. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays & Happy New Year to you all!

i send a few to past colleagues and to a few current as well. we've been colleagues but also friends for so many years. it makes sense to me but definitely depends on the person.

I use the holidays as a way of end of the year thank you to my colleagues (mainly the ones I've worked with) for helping me and their contributions or encouragement. I get more personalized on colleagues whom I've become friends. I often refer to happy holidays unless i know they celebrate Christmas.

It depends. Do they celebrate Christmas. If yes, go for it. If not, get a happy holidays card or one of the “Peace on Earth” ones.

I agree with Stephanie. It depends if you are close to this co-worker and does the individual consider you a friend. I usually give my team members a non-denominational happy holidays card that is sent to the office. All of the team receives the same card. For my friends, I send a Christmas card to their home. There have been years when my friends received two cards, the office card and a personal Christmas card.

I think it's the opposite of weird! It's actually very traditional, and I'm sure very appreciated. Go for it!
