Treated like non Citizen

My Co-workers and Manger are Indian. Also my Co-worker is on a H1-B visa status and is given preference over Citizens. This has been ongoing for a long time. I have noticed the company is only hiring people on Visa and treating citizens like nothing. There is a lot of abuse going on (Like calling even when I'm sick and had surgery and checking when my availability online). The company CEO is living in another country and away from abuse and issues. As a woman in IT Project manager, my male co-worker would try to ensure I didn't exist and treated me like a secretary. One instance, my co-worker schedule a meeting without me and do decisions without my consent. I would wake up at 4am to work and get calls (even when I was at a doctors appointment). My Co-worker would also get a subcontractor to also yell at me for his wrong errors. In addition, my co-Worker is obsessed with me and has my email address, phone number and places of work thanks to Resume on display in company's share drive. My manger has made me disable password controls on my resume. (meaning any body can see my resume). I'm fearful

Honestly, it sounds like there are a LOT of issues here that go beyond your citizenship - sexism and workplace bullying among them. Typically, I'm not the type to encourage people to ditch a job because of some indiscretions, however, this seems like an incredibly toxic workplace, and I don't think there's much you can do to change it. As an IT project manager, I assume you'd have the ability to find a new job fairly easily as it's an in-demand position. Is there any reason you would be against beginning a job search to hopefully move out of this role? Further, the co-worker with your information sounds like he may be edging towards dangerous. I would highly recommend keeping a journal of your interactions so that if worst comes to worst you can report him either to HR or (preferably) the police.

I was forced to resign and the person got promoted and then transferred to another company without facing any consequences.

Dang, I'm really sorry to hear this. I hope that, at the very least, you will be able to move on to a position that treats you better and makes you happy.
