Last night I was stressed -- ok, actually I was freaking out.
I knew what to do to calm down, yet my brain wanted to me to stay in freakout mode.
Luckily, I was on to my brain. I know it's my brain's job to keep me safe so it wanted me to stay in fight or flight.
Instead, I forced myself to take some deep breaths and write down everything swirling in my brain. Finally, I felt better and nodded off.
