I just had the worst post office experience, followed by the best!
There was a super long line at the post office today, so by the time it was my turn, I was relieved — until I began speaking to the postal worker whose desk I was at. I won't waste time going into details, but it was one of my top five most unpleasant customer service experiences, easy. So I'm in this guy's line being loudly sassed/berated by him, when a woman postal worker at another desk motioned for me to come to her. She said she saw what was happening, told me I was a princess (in a genuine way) and that I looked like a movie star, and said not to let anyone rob of me of my joy. I could've easily left the post office in a sour mood, but instead I left smiling!
When's the last time a kind stranger totally turned your day around? (Also, a reminder that we should all strive to BE that kind stranger!)
