Mindfulness

I have been using the Calm app for a few weeks now. I am quite intense in my drive to be organized and productive. I decided to take a Coursera course from Yale University called The Science of Well-Being. This course has been tackling various issues surrounding happiness and productivity and positive feelings toward work and other relationships. One "Re-Wirement" in the course is about meditation. Me? Meditate? I have a BUSY brain. I have been meditating (mostly guided to keep me on track) for a few weeks now. Sleep has improved. Focus has improved. Even my confidence has improved. My drive is no less intense, but I am using it more effectively. I hope this may encourage some of you to also see where this simple practice can be beneficial.

That is awesome. I use headspace but need to be doing it more! Thank you for the encouragement.

I really see the benefits. I feel like putting it out there will help keep me on track! I've heard good things about Headspace as well!
