So tomorrow is my last day at work and today I received my exit package document that is 8 pages long and suggests having a lawyer review it prior to signing. Since I'm just about broke does anyone know where I can have a lawyer review my document pro bono?
FYI: keeping this anonymous due to restrictions in the document.

Read the doc yourself, including fine print. I was laid off from a law firm many years ago and it was suggested for an atty to review before I signed exit docs. Trust me, those docs protect your employer from litigation - age and sex discrimination at least. Docs should list your severance if any and terms of your dismissal. If you don't agree to them or understand them, get a lawyer, but they are generally straight-forward. Im sure a general lawyer that does family law could assist you for a small fee. If not, try legal aid where you live or online. Good luck!

Thank you, you’re correct as I’m reading through it, it’s seems fairly straightforward to me. I truly appreciate your advice.

Wish you only the best during the Holiday season with your big change. Take good care of yourself. Take time to get away from the noise of advice.
