Virtual Whiteboard Recommendations?

When leading meetings with virtual participants, have you found great replacements for whiteboards? I miss having the option to quickly brainstorm or map something out on the whiteboards that were usually in conference rooms. I also miss being able to collect ideas on post-its (or through other tools) for participants to review / group together / vote on / etc. together in a room. In addition to allowing us to gather and sort info, I often used the above as strategies to help our kinesthetic and/or visual learners stay engaged and process info. I've tried some of the whiteboard and similar features included with the webinar providers (Zoom whiteboard, etc), as well as a variety of online brainstorming tools in the past. But it was usually for a single project or meeting, and I'd like to start using a few tools regularly that our teams can get comfortable with. Have you found strategies or tools that are effectively replacing those types of things in an all-virtual environment? I'm eager to hear your suggestions and feedback!

How about Google docs? When you share the link with users and they have it open, they should be able to see the changes you're making to the document live.

I've used it, and do find it helpful when multiple people need to use or add to the same document. It's harder to use to replace a whiteboard when I want each person to add notes to the same space at the same time. It's easy, for example, for people to write over each other if adding to the same column or page. I've found some ways to work around that by setting up the pages intentionally, but am still crossing my fingers that there's a more ideal solution out there!
