A "thank you" after my Thank-you e-mail post interview - Is this is a good omen?
So this time I decided to send a thank you after what I believe was a successful interview on my part. I think I was at my best.
Reason I normally do not send them is because it is rarely customary in the country in Europe where I currently reside. In most industries you do not send them.
However I applied to a global recruitment firm so I figured better to send one than not as there are a lot of people with different backgrounds involved in the process.
Now they replied just one day after the interview and basically said "thank you for coming and for your contribution, we will get back to you shortly". So is this is a positive or a negative signal that they replied so fast? Could I even have made a bad presumptuous impression when I sent one? Do note that it was a group interview as well as a individual interview, and we also had assessments.
Any advice or experience shared would be so appreciated!
