I'm in a bit of a bind.. I'm currently an Account Manager & Recruiter- less than 1 year- at a start up. I do HR duties and help out with scheduling for staff and oversee 2 recruiters in healthcare. The pay is ok but stable. I'm also expected to be in call during the weekends and after work in case of emergencies or if staffers have a question. I do not have benefits- health or 401k and I travel every week about 1-1.5 hrs, no mileage reimbursement. I have an interview next week with a well known company in the tech field as a recruiter but they're more of a commission type of pay. Id be taking at least a 10k pay cut as base pay but they're commission heavy, they offer 401k and health benefits. My income is the only stable income we have as my hubby is a contracted worker. We have 3 kids. I'm torn and need advise as to what your thoughts are regarding career moves (in case I get the recruiter position- 3rd interview and hoping to pass it)
Sorrry for the long read..
