Side Shave

Recently a friend suggested I get a side shave hair cut. She thinks it will make me look my age-- young and fresh! I think it would look unprofessional. It should be noted that I am in my mid 20s, do not dye my hair unnatural colors, and have only my ears pierced. I usually wear minimal make up, eye liner and some times some fou dation. My hair has a natural wave to it but no tight curls. Any input???

I have decided to wait and just get a perm for now. It will still be a fresh new look, but it won't damage my changes as a job seeked. Better safe than sorry!

Have you decided what to do yet? Trust your instincts.

Bear in mind that companies are pushing the acceptance of the LGBTQ community. With that being said, I doubt a simple haircut will be frowned upon by any organization that prides themselves on welcoming those who are different from the norm. (Not insinuating you are LGBT. Just pointing out that in this day and age, anything goes.)

Do you already have a career? if so, a new hair cut will not harm you since it is temporary. If you are in search of a job, I would refrain from it.
