Anti-aging methods instead of botox?

Hey all! I know a lot of people are dabbling in botox and I understand why — but I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s not for me. Naturally aging is beautiful and I’d like to continue this method. But I also want to make sure I’m taking care of myself with natural wrinkle reduction methods as I get older. What ways do you incorporate rejuvenation back into your routine? Any advice? Looking to jumpstart this new decade with a new skincare routine!

I think a huge part of it, unfortunately, is something you can't change: genetics. Aging gracefully is mental, too. Sometimes you gotta look at those wrinkles and remember how they got there: likely smiling, and hard work. Best of luck in finding a skin care regimen that works for you!

I will echo - exercise, sunscreen/moisturizer/serum every day. I use a retinoid at night and facials periodically to exfoliate (microblading and CIT pen). It sounds like a lot, but really 2 products in am and 2 in the pm.

For my facial routine after I wash my face, I use a lotion toner, followed by a rejuvenating serum, then a lightweight moisturizer, and before I head to bed, I apply a sleeping mask to keep my skin fresh in the morning. I've recently bought an ice roller on Amazon with great reviews: https://www.amazon.com/ESARORA-Roller-Puffiness-Migraine-Products/dp/B01E8IZ4ZA I haven't used it yet but it seems like a reliable product. There are also those needle rollers which helps inject serum into the face in the marketplace!

Great question. I also want to look my best and age gracefully. There are a lot of different options for younger looking skin. A lot defends on what works best for you but here are some that I use: Exercise a few times a week. It doesn’t have to be strenuous, just waking for 30 min a few times a week will get your blood flowing and give you a more rosey complexion with better blood flow. Try cutting out refined sugars and carbs, you don’t have to cut them all out but if you are currently carb heavy it can lead to breakouts and dull skin. Incorporate more veggies, fish, and lean meats into your diet. I personally do not care for fish but have found that I have enjoyed veggies a lot more than I thought.... especially roasted ones like zucchini, broccoli, cauliflower, and brussel sprouts. Drink lots and lots of water to flush your system daily. Find a good skincare regimen for your age and skin type (with a sunscreen). Something that has retinol and vitamin C. For immediate results do weekly masks and perhaps look into a facial. It may be worth having a professional facial and discussing what products would be right for your skin type/concerns. Update your hairstyle. I have noticed that as I get older, wearing my hair shorter and with layers, think Lisa Rinna hair style or a pixie cut if you are really brave, knocks a good 10 yrs off my face. I don’t know why, but it does! Over the years I have found different solutions for different seasons and use a mixture of them all. Best of luck to you!!!
