How do I encourage teachers to embrace their power?
I work with teachers who are afraid to speak the truth to parents. They are worried about reprisal and seem to have vague "rules" about what they can and cannot say to a parent.
I am over 55; I remember the Teacher as the ultimate authority. What has happened?
I often ask myself what has happened to teachers? They are so smart and are experts. Why do parents/guardians make them quake in their shoes?
Any suggestions for me?
