No insurance No PTO NO VACATION BE EARLY BUT DONT CLOCK IN TILL 8am . If you clock in before 8 AM your time will be changed by the bosses wife, even though they have cameras and can clearly see you working. Isn’t this against the law? 13 hr days no lunch break. No one stays at this office for more than a month or two

Oops. And a 911 calltaker for 8 yrs. If someone called in sick and nobody wanted the overtime they could order us for 6 more. Well since it was just 2 hrs you would stay (time and a half lol). For lunch we should of had 30 mins away from our post but we all ate while we worked. Our 2 15 min breaks we would take. It got so bad if you answered your phone and they asked if you wanted the overtime and if you said no and they said sorry your ordered in... We started telling them we were drinking and they said we will come give you a pbt.... We would do a couple shots... They would never show up lol. I dont know but I think if your a Union member you go to your union but the EEOC.

I'm seeing several violations here: Wage theft (requiring you to work without clocking in) Overtime violations (you don't mention that you're being paid for 13 hours and it IS required unless you are a manager) HIPAA violations (cameras monitoring patient treatment being viewed by someone else? BIG mistake) In your shoes, I would be calling the labor board AND the state medical board first thing tomorrow morning.

There are so many violations here...not just wage theft but violations regarding safety: lunch breaks and 10-15 minute breaks (depending on # of hours worked). By the way, it is illegal for employers to alter your time card without employee authorization. Please check with your state labor board!

Absolutely, check your state fair labor laws, these are violations in most states, they could get into big trouble.

I’m not sure where you are, but in my state, if you work lunch (and are not salary), you get paid. You are also granted two 15 minute breaks for every 4 hours worked. You need to check with the employment commission in your area/city/state.

What the bosses wife ? So if she is insecure With her husband you hv to deal with it ? Isn’t that invasion of privacy ? Check the state labor laws ? Are y in prison or work ?
