I've been with a company that I really like for five years. I am a mid level employee and have had 3 managers in the past 5 years. Each has their unique way of managing and i have have adapted accordingly. My problem is with my current manager. He is very particular as to how …
Yah, it's an "employer's" market, but seeing so many listings for roles that are offering literally half or 25% of what the pay should be is making me sick. You want 5-10 years experience for x? The pendulum always swings back. Employers may want to consider that. Don't hire until you can…
My current job: I'm the marketing lead for a division within a large, global media company. In addition to pay being great, benefits are as well, including 401k matching. Also, while I have a hybrid schedule and do need to go into the office a few times a week, it's flexible enough…

ailIf it were me, I would choose the stability of a company that works... start up's don't always keep it together and your current gig sounds sketchy as well. I like living in doors, need a job that can support this. Don't want to keep looking over your shoulder at current job.

Coming from a start up doesn't always equate into an experience salary driven hiring mindset. I've worked with start ups that offer a wage that is compelling, but isn't realistic, meaning > good money. Now, you may have more experience than a start up background in this field, and I would encourage to focus on those with salary asks. There's a reason you're still calling your present company 'start up'. It's not grown into you just sharing 'company'. Ever think about that? ALL companies were start ups at one point, but you don't here, Apple still saying they're a start up, or J Crew, or 1-800 Flowers. Change the conversation in your interviews.
